Dr. Adriana Klassen
Dr. Adriana Klassen is the Superintendent of Westmount Charter School in Calgary, Alberta, bringing 20 years of rich experience in K–12 education, inclusive leadership, and gifted pedagogy. Over her distinguished career, she has served as a humanities teacher, an Assistant Principal (K–9), a Vice Principal (K–12), and an elementary campus Principal, giving her a deep, first-hand understanding of the diverse operational and instructional needs across all grade levels.
Adriana holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Western University, where her research focused collective teacher efficacy to support staff well-being through a servant leadership model. She also holds a Master of Arts in Gifted Education and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Cultural Anthropology. A passionate advocate for collaborative school cultures, Adriana’s leadership has been recognized with the Alberta Distinguished Leadership Award. She remains deeply dedicated to empowering school authorities with research-based, practical toolkits that support educators and allow every student to thrive.
