Our Team

Wanda Dechant, M.Ed., is a Designer of Professional Learning with the Calgary Office, supporting teachers, educational assistants, school administrators, and learning coaches in K–12 Math and Numeracy. Drawing on a teaching career that began in 2000, Wanda embeds three core pillars into her work with educators: building student and teacher self-confidence in math, making learning and thinking visible, and weaving together conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and adaptive reasoning so educators and students alike can thrive as mathematicians.
