The Student Reading Video Project is an initiative designed to support students in Grades 4–9 who have gaps in their foundational phonics knowledge. This session will deepen educators’ understanding of how to identify an appropriate starting point for phonics instruction with older learners. Camille will guide teachers through a structured, evidence-based phonics approach that uses on-demand student videos to strengthen decoding skills within a focused 10-minute intervention block. A brief follow-up conference between the teacher and student reinforces the phonics instruction by applying new learning to the reading of connected words and sentences.
