Target Audience: High School Social Studies Instructional Leaders and Teachers

In this session, teachers will be provided with insight into the Social Studies 30-1 Part A: Written Response and Part B: Multiple Choice. In designing the SS30-1 examination, both Part A and Part B are focused on assessing, to the extent that a summative exam can, the skills, processes and outcomes prescribed in the program of studies. While there is no formula to guarantee student success, a more complete understanding of the examination will help teachers better plan engaging experiences for their students as they prepare their students to write this summative examination.
