Dwayne Girard
Following experience as a classroom teacher with the Northern Lights School Division for 13 years teaching a variety of subjects including Social Studies, Dwayne Girard was seconded to the position of Social Studies 30 examiner with Learner Assessment in 2001. During his time with Alberta Education, Dwayne became the Social Studies 30 Exam Manager and the Social Studies 30-1 Team Lead with the curriculum change. Since retiring in November 2024, Dwayne continues to share his expertise offering professional learning opportunities for educators and pre-service teachers.
