Are you interested in building morphology instruction into your Kindergarten or Grade 1 Classroom, but don’t know where to start? Join us for this step-by-step introduction to morphology in the early years. We will share fun, practical, multisensory lessons and activities that will help your students develop morphological awareness and prime them to be competent readers and writers. Key definitions and “big ideas” will also be included, along with student-friendly anchor charts.

Note: While this presentation has a strong Kindergarten focus, the activities shared also provide an excellent foundation for Grade 1 instruction. Grade 1 learners will typically require less repetition and support as they apply these skills.
