Target Audience: K-12 educational assistants, instructional leaders, pre-service teachers, support staff and teachers are encouraged to attend.

Join Sable Chan for an interactive approach and discussion on how to maintain and improve your speaking and singing voice so that it sounds clear, confident, and easy. Sable Chan is a professional singer that sees patients with voice disorders in her work as a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist.

This voice seminar will cover topics such as:

  • Basic overview of the larynx and anatomical components for voice production
  • Voice warm-ups for speaking or singing
  • Exercises to improve vocal flexibility and stamina
  • How to recover a sick voice

This session is focused on the hands-on, interactive trial of voice techniques. These skills will help maintain your voice longevity and strengthen your vocal muscle to help build strength, flexibility, and expressivity.
